Denver Homicide Series

Book # 1 Going Once, Going Twice, Dead

Gruesome murder rocks art world.

Forever jaded, Homicide Detective Dane Reynolds has met his match in sculptress Simone Preston, the prime suspect in his current murder case. The beautiful Black Widow denies any involvement in the deaths of two ex-boyfriends, but evidence suggests otherwise.

Simone is shocked when another ex has been discovered dead, hanging crucifixion-style from her latest sculpture. One murdered ex-boyfriend she found plausible; two meant someone was setting her up.

As the case unravels, Dane is lured into Simone’s web and left to wonder if his obsession for her is worth his suspension, or if he’ll be the next to die because of it.

Book # 2 Hook, Line, Murder

An injury leads Denver homicide detective, Steve Morgan to a forced sabbatical in the sleepy little town of Marble, Colorado—a population so small they have no law enforcement. A fish-out-of-water at the lodge, Steve attempts to relax while fishing, only to hook the body of a woman who’s been strangled. With a strong desire to find this woman’s killer, he begins to secretly investigate, uncovering a string of murders from Colorado to Idaho.

After being abandoned by her fiancé, independent single mother, Whitney McAllister, has some trust issues with men and has learned to go it alone—with no regret. Raising a three-year-old isn’t easy, but she accepts her situation and has no plans to change that until a handsome detective arrives at the resort where she works. It’s not love at first sight, but when someone breaks into her house, for her daughter’s sake, she succumbs to Steve's insistence that she stay at his cabin. His caring and protective nature begins to break down her wall of distrust, but she still needs to know that he won’t leave once the case is closed.

As attraction builds, the killer ups the ante, and Steve and Whitney learn only together can they stop the next murder from taking place and their future from being destroyed.

Greer Beranger is trying to stay straight after a six year stint in the pen. Too bad no one wants to hire a thief? For money, he’s forced to work at the Black Stallion, an exclusive club catering to women with clear intentions of keeping his distance from all the female clientele.
