Caddy-Did is yet another enjoyable story in Jerri Drennen's Aztec Security series. Although this story does not directly involve a specific case, it was entertaining watching as a new recruit goes through the system. I truly felt for Cadence who had been rather badly used by Yancy in Mauvelous. True, it had been necessary for the case, but that did not ease her pain. I hope that Ms. Drennen continues this series. |

Inventing the Abbotts This is a very exciting and suspenseful tale. The chemistry between Thorn and Ava is evident from the beginning and it is fun to watch the both of them fight it. It takes another woman¢s attention to make Ava take action. All the while they are searching for ways to take Grayson down, but he is wilier than they give him credit for. The characters in this story are excellent. Thorn is a technical genius, but a novice agent and it shows. Ava is a bit overconfident, and they both get sidetracked by their attraction to each other. The setting is Lake Charles, near a Louisiana bayou with all of the attendant gators, snakes, and other creepy crawlies, a fitting setting for the villain. There are a few surprises in store for the reader at the end, making this a very enjoyable read. -Romance Studios |

A romantic tale of love and suspense, MAUVELOUS follows two individuals so fearful of love that they constantly push the other away. It takes danger and a few gunshots to turn the tide between Yancy and Mauve. Secondary characters play bit roles in the tale, mainly as background for the mystery Yancy and Mauve are neck deep in. The tale is well paced and engaging and raises high hopes for the next tale in this series. |
